Tony Todd, the Venom character from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, seems to confirm that the PS5 title will be released in September 2023.
Candymanalum Tony Todd, who portrays Venom in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, appears to have confirmed that the anticipated Insomniac Games title will launch for the PlayStation 5 this September.
Then, in the spring of last year, the official PlayStation blog announced that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was targeting an October 2023 release. Thanks to Todd, however, the fans now seem to have an even more precise release date. “Looks like September!” The actor replied to a Twitter user. “Massive publicity is coming up in August. Commercials begin dropping in August as I’ve been told. Make sure you keep your hands on your… and be sure to breathe! Gonna be necessary.”

Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be exclusively available for the PlayStation 5. This game is the direct sequel to Insomniac’s 2018 title Marvel’s Spider-Man and its sequel in 2020 Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Marvel’s Spider-Man was initially made available exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on September 2018. An upgraded version of the game then came out for the PS5 in 2020 and PC in 2022. Miles Morales launched simultaneously for the PS4 and PS5 in November 2020 before making its way to PC in 2022.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Stars Two Spider-Men
Marvel’s Spider-Man lets players step into the shoes of the first Spider-Man, Peter Parker, to experience an open-world adventure within the Big Apple. Miles Morales shifts the focus to Miles Peter’s protégé and his fellow Spider-Man. The spinoff game is based on Miles his journey to becoming a hero of his right after being left in charge of protecting New York by himself. Both Miles and Peter are the protagonists of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The main villains in the sequel are expected to be Venom and Kraven as well as the Hunter.

Insomniac is working on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The game is based on the character of the same name, a mutant anti-hero. It takes place in the same universe that the Spider-Man titles. Marvel’s Wolverine will launch as a PS5 exclusive, similar to Spider-Man 2. However, there is no time frame for its release at this point. Based on sources, Marvel’s Wolverine may launch in late 2023 or early 2025.
Created by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is slated to launch in fall 2023 for the PlayStation 5.
