Naruto Fan’s Impressive Itachi Cosplay Captures Attention and Caws of Approval

Itachi Uchiha Itachi Uchiha, one of the Akatsuki members who was also a former ANBU Captain is brought to life in an impressive and haunting cosplay that focuses on his ninjutsu skills.

Bryan Dracula, aka BZNintendo, is a costume maker extraordinaire who has created a frightening rendition of Itachi Uchiha in Naruto.

Posted on Reddit The images of the bloody Itachi cosplay feature the character dressed in his Akatsuki attire. The crowds are abounding around him with one creepily bursting forth from his face and creating a fitting and haunting portrait of the ninjutsu master.

The missing-nin and ex-ANBU captain isn’t the only cartoon character BZNintendo has brought to life. The cosplayer’s Reddit account also includes pictures of equally impressive renditions of Pokemon’s Guzma and My Hero Academia’s Shigaraki. BZNintendo has cosplayed video game characters such as Cloud Strife and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII as well.

The History of the Naruto Anime

Masashi Kishimoto’s Naruto manga was featured in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump between 1999 and 2014. With over 250 million copies worldwide, the series is now one of the most popular mangas, alongside Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball and Titekubo’s Bleach. The story is about Naruto, an orange-clad ninja, as he strives to become the ultimate Hokage. With the help of his Jonin Instructor, Kakashi, and along with his teammates, Sakura and Sasuke, Naruto learns how to be a skilled shinobi and discovers several dark secrets about his world.

Studio Pierrot adapted Kishimoto’s manga into two anime series- Naruto and Naruto Shippuden which first ran between 2002 and 2017- and the sequel, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations which is currently in production. To celebrate the show’s 20th anniversary, four brand-new Naruto episodes are scheduled to be released in September 2023. There are numerous versions of the show in other media, including tie-in movies as well as video games and guidebooks. Novelizations can also be created. Many merchandising companies have released numerous naruto collectibles throughout the years as well. For example, figurine maker FanHome now offers an online subscription service for the ninja-centric series which provides its members with the latest hand-painted character every month.

Of course, Itachi isn’t the only fan-favorite Naruto character that has inspired stunning costumes. In the last month, a well-known cosplayer Izanamitan posted pictures of their Kushina Uzumaki costume that highlights her gorgeous red hair and also references her striking Adamantine Sealing Chains technique. In addition, Izanamitan also fabricated a strikingly accurate cosplay of Ino Yamanaka. This costume showcases Leaf Village Kunoichi’s deep blue eyes and long blonde hair.
