The Justice League Gets a Chic Upgrade: DCU Cosplayer Reinvents the Iconic Heroes with High Fashion

Model Wisdom Kaye shows off a collection of outfits inspired by the DC Universe that are based on Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and the rest of the Justice League.

The seven have never looked more stylish together due to an artist who has merged the DC Universe with the world of fashion, with clothes that were inspired by Zack Snyder’s Justice League lineup.

Director, stylist, and model Wisdom Kaye shared a video of himself modeling the DCU-inspired custom ensembles on Twitter. The collection features pieces inspired by Justice League characters like Wonder Woman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman. The collection also includes pieces of Supreme, Dsquared, and Ami Paris as well as pieces from YSL and Balmain, among other high-end brands. Kaye has previously worn outfits that were inspired by Teen Titans, Marvel Cinematic Universe, and The Boys. Check out his preview of the Justice League collection below.

Kaye’s outfits are based on the character designs of Zack Snyder’s Justice League and the former DC Extended Universe. Many fans have filed petitions to have another studio claim the rights of the Snyderverse. This is following the announcement of Peter Safran and James Gunn taking over as co-CEOs of DC Studios co-CEOs. Netflix is the fan favorite to continue Snyder’s DC vision. It’s the home of Snyder Army of the Dead as well as the forthcoming sci-fi actioner Rebel Moon. After the release in July 2022 of Army of the Dead Snyder signed a first-look agreement with Netflix.

Gunn Destroys the Snyderverse Movement

James Gunn has responded to the #SellTheSnyderverseToNetflix movement, labeling it the “wackiest hashtag ever.” Gunn also stated that he’d spoken with Snyder and Netflix regarding the possibilities of purchasing the rights to the Snyderverse. Gunn said Snyder has not expressed an interest in the matter and is satisfied with what he’s doing. He also revealed that he had spoken to other people with Netflix.

The Flash is The Flash The Flash bringing elements from the DCEU into the new DCU, Warner Bros. While it’s unlikely to be Snyder and Netflix purchasing the Snyderverse rights, Discovery and DC Studios are looking to sell them the rights. Snyder seems to have also put off the possibility of DC returning, at the very least temporarily. He claimed that “As as I can tell, which I don’t but I’m doing all I can, and I haven’t had anybody give me an answerphone or any other information” in November 2022. That was the month when Gunn Safran and Gunn assumed the position of co-heads at DC Studios. “I’m just hoping for the best and hoping they produce some interesting films.”
