God of War Fan Pays Homage to Ragnarök with a Remarkable Freya Cosplay Creation

A renowned cosplayer shows us her detailed depiction of Freya the goddess, in the role she plays in God of War Ragnarok

God of War fan has created an amazing cosplay of Freya to commemorate the release of God of War Ragnarok.

Long-time cosplayer MissSkunk shared pictures of her impressive recreation of the character Freya in God of War’s latest installment. The image shows her standing in a wooded area with a long-sleeved leather dress and a loincloth. The outfit is completed by a wide belt with a brass-centered central part. An assortment of rope, hide, and interconnected metal discs are hung from her tunic, and her hair is braided and adorned by a silver ringlet, while two feathers can be visible sticking out of her head. The hands of her are covered with Old Norse tattoos, and her arms and legs of her have cloth and leather wraps.

The cosplayer, known as Frau Adler on Twitter and can be found on Facebook as MsSkunk has been playing cosplayers since 2004. The most recent projects are Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn; Rogue from Cyberpunk 2077 and Sadie Adler in Red Dead Redemption II.

God of War‘s Freya is based on the Norse mythology of both Frigg and Freyja. The universe of the game is populated by a god who initially assists Kratos when his son Atreus is diagnosed with an unknown illness. Following the death of Baldur, the Ghost of Sparta kills her son Baldur, she shows empathy but eventually turns against the deity. Ragnarok Freya Returns to the series, however this time she is an antagonist who is seeking revenge against Kratos. She’ll go to any lengths to get her justice.
