@narutos_cosplay shared a Twitter image of two cosplayers reenacting the death of Naruto’s parents in the anime’s original series. The two cosplayers, who have not been identified, posed in the role of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki following the time that the Nine-Tails slashed the pair with its claw as they tried to shield their son who was born. Minato secured half of the Nine-Tails in Naruto in the couple’s final moment. They then said their final goodbyes to the baby. The Third Hokage then listened to Minato’s request to keep Naruto’s identity secret for his protection.
